This project was one of several partnerships with University College Dublin to explore the impact of ‘missed care’ in community nursing. Just Economics provided support on the economic component of the study, which included estimates of the cost of missed care and the identification of those costs through focus groups with nurses.
Just Economics and the National University of Ireland, Maynooth were commissioned to carry out an area-based impact assessment of the Youngballymun project. Just Economics developed an economic model to estimate the return on investment to the State from the intervention.
Golden Lane Housing (GLH) was established as an independent national charity by Mencap to help tackle the problems that people with a learning disability face when trying to finding a home. Just Economics supported GLH to produce their first social impact report for the Social Stock Exchange in 2015, with an update in 2016. This included theory of change development, analysis of existing data as well as the gathering of case study data.
