Brain Health Village pilot
A pilot study is taking place on a social housing estate in Baltinglass, a village in Co. Wicklow. In 2023, Just Economics was commissioned as a design, impact and learning partner.
The process included a needs assessment to identify brain health priorities, design workshops and strategic planning support and ongoing evaluation via a developmental evaluation approach. The aim is to better understand how the concept of brain health can be applied in social housing and explore whether the approach can improve outcomes for tenants and in turn be scaled to tenant management more widely.
The social impact of Approved Housing Bodies in Ireland
In 2022, three of the largest Approved Housing Bodies in Ireland– Clúid Housing, Respond and Circle VHA – commissioned Just Economics to identify common outcomes across the sector and a methodology for measuring those outcomes and determining social impact.
