Poverty and inequality are highly corrosive to society and growing up in poverty is particularly damaging to children and their future life chances. Poverty cuts across much of the work we do as it is both a cause and consequence of in many social issues such as homelessness/poor housing, disability and unemployment. Our work in this area includes assessments of ways to tackle child poverty, move people experiencing poverty into employment or training and pro-poor growth in developing countries.
